THE LOST WORLD

Every adult knows that children are the greatest experts on dinosaurs. They can bombard their listeners with information about countless species of these terrifying creatures, effortlessly pronouncing their equally monstrous names – names that tie parents’ tongues in knots. And yet, when the eccentric Professor Challenger announces that during his latest journey he has discovered evidence of living dinosaurs, and the Institute of Zoology organizes a scientific expedition, there is no place for children among the team of explorers.

Natalia Malone – the daughter of one of the expedition members – decides that there is no way she will miss the chance to come face to face with a dinosaur. Will this bold and spirited girl achieve her goal and join the great expedition? What dangers await the travelers in the Amazon jungle? And most importantly, will Challenger’s claims turn out to be a gigantic discovery – or a gigantic lie? That remains to be seen. One thing is certain, however: the expedition’s participants will experience countless adventures, which we will share with you during the performance.

The play is based on the novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. By telling the story of the expedition’s adventures, the creators show that honesty matters – and that friends can be found in the most unexpected places.
