“MASKA” IS ACCESSIBLE

We make every effort to ensure that everyone feels comfortable, at ease, and safe with us - so that all visitors can experience the magic of theatre on equal terms.
Every audience member of the Maska Theatre can count on the support and assistance of our staff.

If any of our visitors require support for any reason, please inform us when making a reservation or at least 3 days before the event.

Ask us about the accessibility of selected performances and events.
We may be able to meet your expectations.

Architectural Accessibility

The Maska Theatre building in Rzeszów is located at 13 Mickiewicza Street, close to the Market Square.

There are several steps leading to the main entrance. 
A ramp for wheelchair users is located right next to the stairs.

An accessible toilet is located on the ground floor near the elevator.

From these stops, head towards Gałęzowskiego Street or Bożnicza Street.
Some sections of the sidewalks are in poor condition.
There are pedestrian crossings along the route. Only the crossing at Piłsudskiego Street has traffic lights.
All crossings have lowered curbs.

From these stops, head towards Adama Mickiewicza Street.
Some sections of the sidewalks are in poor condition; additionally, there are obstacles such as trash bins and flower planters on the pavement.
There are pedestrian crossings along the route without traffic or sound signals.
All crossings have lowered curbs.

 

Parking at Maska Theatre

The parking entrance is from Mikołaja Kopernika Street.
The parking area is secured with a barrier. To open it, call: +48 17 862 68 08.

A porter will open the gate and indicate a parking space.

There are 2 parking spaces for people with disabilities.
They are marked with a special symbol (the so-called “envelope”) and blue color.
They are located in front of the main entrance.

 

Performances with audio description and translation into Polish Sign Language (PJM)

Audio description is available for selected performances:

If you would like to use audio description, please inform us at least 5 days before your visit.

After confirmation with the Audience Services Office, you will also have the opportunity to become familiar with the stage space of the performance.

 

Subtitles and Sign Language

Selected performances are also presented with subtitles or with interpretation into Polish Sign Language (PJM).
